Our mission is to open the door to music by providing quality music education for anyone who wishes to learn.

Valley Music Academy is pleased to provide quality private music instruction for woodwind, brass, percussion, strings, piano and voice, as well as classroom and ensemble instruction for all ages. Our instructors are qualified educators with many years of experience as performers, musicians and teachers.

Our faculty offers private instruction in all of the wind and percussion instruments*. All of our instructors are professional music educators and performers; an incredible group of talented faculty to help your students become the best they can be and help grow your program to its fullest potential

Valley Music Academy offers children and adults the finest music instruction in the Shenandoah Valley.  If you are interested in learning something new or getting to the next level in your practice VMA can help you reach your goals. 

Private lessonsIndividual instruction is the basis for a life-long appreciation of music. Valley Music Academy offers private instruction for a wide variety of instruments and voice.  Students can enroll anytime during the year. If you have any further questions about private lessons, feel free to contact our Program Director.

Musikgarten Children are naturally drawn to music, which will make your time with them in Musikgarten both fun and beneficial.  Valley Music Academy offers the full spectrum of Musikgarten classes from birth to age 9.

Jazz Ensemble  offers students from 7th - 12th grades an opportunity to play music in a variety of styles from jazz to rock. While playing in this ensemble the student will learn about chords, improvised solos, and how to work in a small group setting.  Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 6 - 7pm.

Piano Accompaniment  Pianist who want to gain experience with accompaniment and work with other musicians and vocalists.   Please contact the VMA office for more information.

Volunteers would have the opportunity to help with programs such as Singing Valentines, Rock n' Run, and concerts and recitals. Volunteers can also choose to simply help as needed or even join the Board of Directors.
